Central Bancorp is formed to take advantage of opportunities envisioned by The Corundum Group, a financial management firm established in 1992 for high-net-worth individuals. The Corundum Group, which currently manages $1 billion in assets, seeks to establish a full-service financial firm under the Central Bancorp umbrella brand, including the brand extensions: Central Bank & Trust, CB&T Mortgage, CB Insurance, The Corundum Group and Corundum Trust Company.

CUKJATI develops the Central Bancorp brand platform and architecture, including the brand positioning, promise, drivers, personality and brand extensions. The agency then develops the editorial and visual approach to ensure consistent communications, and continues as Central Bancorp’s agency of record.
