Background FrontRange Solutions Inc. (formally GoldMine Software Corporation) produces HEAT®, an award-winning, internal IT help desk software management system targeted for organizations with up to 20,000 employees. Major markets are corporate, government, medical, and higher education institutions in the United States, Europe, Australia and South Africa. Branding + Strategy The HEAT® division of FrontRange Solutions, Inc. has committed to the fast-track development of three additional consumer products: state-of-the-art asset management, knowledge management and web-integration solutions for the corporate IT department. They are to be marketed with the original product, HEAT®, to form a cost effective suite of IT support services. The product launch occurs in six months.

As a category market share leader, HEAT® is a recognizable brand with high customer loyalty among corporate IT professionals. It was important to highlight the new product offerings as new, state-of-the-art software solutions that adhere to the high standards of value, reliability and customer service represented by the HEAT® brand.

Cukjati balanced a complicated and politically sensitive mix of client team members — individual product development managers, sales managers, technical documentation managers as well as internal marketing and public relations departments — to develop a complete corporate branding campaign including:
