"Don't get me started on old Air Force stories..."

A Fly-By On John
The first 22 years of John's career was spent serving his country as an Air Force officer. He flew crazy into-the-eye-of-the-typhoon-type reconnaissance flights in the Pacific, cargo airlift into war zones and F-16 navigation-system test flights. And he spent one three-month stint in Norway drinking potent aquavit under the midnight sun. Tough duty. When he retired from the Air Force, he joined CUKJATI as its left-brain-in-chief, bean-counter, and corporate pilot. Since then he has spent most of his life accumulating toys: a 1961 Vette, a 2001 Vette and he shares expenses on a Piper Saratoga that belongs to a United pilot, so he can keep flying on a regular basis. On the ground, he is adored by his dogs, Mork and Nu2. They consider John their hero for the early-morning three-mile hikes in woods. If John doesn’t come to work with white hair all over his clothes, then he isn’t fully dressed.
